Fresh Distribution Centre Opening

On 30 January this year, the new Victor and Co Fresh Distribution Centre was opened — the region’s biggest indoor complex for selling fruit and vegetable products and groceries.

The distribution centre building complies with international standards and was built using the most advanced construction technologies. The complex features fire alarms and automatic fire-extinguishing systems and the whole territory is protected by burglar alarms and a video surveillance system. The distribution centre is equipped with an automatic gate with dock shelters and dock levellers.

Comfortable spaces for selling fruit and vegetable products and groceries are arranged throughout the complex (total area: 19,000 square metres). For wholesale buyers, there is an appealing system of purchase prices. Customers will also be interested in the broad selection of products on offer.

Section area varies from 20–40 m2 for grocery tenants and 40–120 m2 for tenants selling fruit and vegetable products. A visual advertising (sign-board) can also be placed above the section. Every section is provided with all electrical connections. Spaces for heavy-load vehicles are arranged on the nearby territory for maximum convenience of suppliers.

The Fresh Distribution Centre is not only a striking example of a clever developer’s solution for the well thought-out rearrangement of available floor space. It also has a clear social significance: more than 500 additional jobs have been created, with increased earnings at various budget levels; prices correspond fully to the price control program for staple food products adopted by the regional government. In addition, establishment of the distribution centre has resulted in the reduction of a considerable number of non-authorised markets in Samara and the surrounding province.

Fresh Distribution Centre has an optimal location, providing not only transportation accessibility but also a high visitor flow.

It is located very near to the Moskovskiy SandE Complex (the biggest shopping and entertainment centre in the Samara Oblast) as well as the Victoria cultural and entertainment centre and aqua park.

The complex is located at the intersection of two major thoroughfares (Moskovskoye highway, Rakitovskoye highway) connecting the administrative centre with Samara’s industrial districts.

There are direct exits to federal highways and, hence traffic with all major Russian regions: М-5, А-151 federal roads; М-32 motor road.
